The Carlos Silva e Sousa funeral will take place tomorrow, Saturday, at Vale Pedras Cemetery, in Albufeira. The funeral ceremonies of the mayor of Albufeira, who died tonight, victim of a heart attack, start at 14:30 pm, in the church of Sant'Ana, where the body will be in a burning chamber from 17:30 pm today.
It will be from this place that the funeral procession will depart, heading towards the Igreja Matriz in Albufeira, where the exequial mass will take place, and later on to the Vale Pedras cemetery, announced the Municipality of Albufeira, which has already decreed three days of mourning for the mayor's death.
The municipality announced, however, that this Saturday, after the Exequial Mass at the Igreja Matriz in Albufeira, scheduled to start at 14:30 pm, the funeral procession will continue along Avenida dos Descobrimentos towards the City Hall of Albufeira.
From there, continue along Avenida dos Descobrimentos, passing the Rotunda das Minhocas towards the Hospital Privado Lusíadas (former airstrip).
The procession will pass by the RCI and will end at the Vale Pedras Cemetery, where Carlos Eduardo da Silva e Sousa will be buried.
