The Alcoutim Chamber will support 32 needy families in the municipality with the attribution of a social card, which gives them a set of benefits.
For example, cardholders have a 50% reduction in the payment of fees, fees, prices and licenses owed by the user.
In addition, they have the right to benefit from the application of the social tariff in water supply, wastewater sanitation and urban waste management services.
The support is open to all residents in the municipality for at least one year who are registered in one of the parishes and who can prove that they have an income below the fixed value.
The initiative “is part of a social policy focused on improving the living conditions of the population, especially households that are in a situation of greater social vulnerability, and on the creation of instruments that can reduce needs and help to reverse dynamics of social exclusion», says the Chamber of Alcoutim.
The card is valid for one year, renewable for the same period at the request of the interested party. Applications take place at the City Council's Social Action, Health and Education Office, during the months of November and December.
