Tenders are open for the attribution of 1,7 million euros in support to agricultural projects and other types that are carried out in low-density areas, announced In Loco, the entity responsible for the Local Development Strategy for the Interior of the Central Algarve .
The Algarve local development association, as the managing entity of the Local Action Group for the Interior of the Central Algarve, informed that six lines of support were opened, all of them linked to measure 10 Leader of PDR2020.
Thus, applications may be submitted for: Small investments in Agricultural Exploitation (from 1st March to 31st May 2018); Small investments in the processing and marketing of agricultural products (from 1st March to 30th April 2018); Diversification of activities on the farm (from 2 April to 31 August 2018); Short chains and local markets (from 1st March to 30th April 2018); Promotion of local quality products (from 2 April to 31 August 2018); Renovation of villages (from 1st March to 31st May 2018).
The investments must be located in the territory of the Interior Algarve Central, which covers the following parishes: Guia and Paderne, in the municipality of Albufeira; Santa Bárbara de Nexe, Conceição and Estoi, in the Municipality of Faro; Alte, Ameixial, Boliqueime, Salir, São Sebastião and Querença, Tôr and Benafim, in the municipality of Loulé; Pechão and Moncarapacho and Fuseta, in the Municipality of Olhão; São Brás de Alportel; São Bartolomeu de Messines and São Marcos da Serra, in the municipality of Silves; Cachopo, Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo and Luz de Tavira and Santo Estêvão, in the municipality of Tavira.
The expected contributions vary between 35 and 50% and are non-refundable. Announcements and other relevant information, including legislation, forms, technical guidelines that include the lists of documents to be presented, can be consulted on the GAL website “Interior of the Central Algarve”.
