The “4 Horas TT” resistance meeting will take place on February 24, with a prologue scheduled for 10:30 am, next to the dam in the village of Pereiro, in Alcoutim.

«The great off-road party» takes place on a circuit of about six kilometers, having in previous editions counted on the presence of the greatest national figures in the sport: Hélder Rodrigues, Rúben Faria, Paulo Gonçalves, António Maio and Luís Teixeira.

This year “it is expected that the race will be enhanced by professional and amateur drivers once again”, says the organization.

The format of the races will be the most traditional. With the Le Mans-style start, riders will "have to fight for the top positions on conventional starting grids with timed practice setting the order."

The race is made up of teams of one or two riders and one or two motorcycles, with only two classes: class 1 – 1 rider on a motorcycle and class 2 – two riders and one or two motorcycles.

The event has the collaboration of the Municipality of Alcoutim and the Union of Parishes of Alcoutim and Pereiro.

The event is organized by Grupo Desportivo de Alcoutim and the Northeast Algarve Youth Association, a well-known organizer of all-terrain competitions.

The promotion of the event and the potential of the region is the responsibility of the company A2 Comunicação, a specialist in the field of motor sports, to ensure media coverage of the event and its dissemination.

This is «a unique moment to practice or watch motor sports in the municipality of Alcoutim, a place that provides unique conditions for events of this nature».
