The young Beatriz Cintra, an Algarve sailor from Clube Naval de Portimão, will participate, from January 11th to 17th, in the 8th edition of the “Mussanah Race Week”, in the Sultanate of Oman.
The presence of the sailor, the only female athlete in a delegation of three sailors plus a coach, invited by Companhia Náutica, is linked to her sport as a youth in light sailing, in the “Optimist” class.
This year, Beatriz Cintra won 3rd place for women in the IV Regata Ciudad del Puerto, which took place from 2 to 4 January in Puerto de Santa Maria (Spain).
