Maritime Police recovers two stolen boats in Olhão but is still looking for engines

Two boats that had been stolen in Olhão were recovered by the Maritime Police (PM), with the engines already out of service.

Two vessels that had been stolen in Olhão were recovered by the Maritime Police (PM), with the outboard engines removed, which were taken.

Following complaints from the owners of the boats, the local command of the PM of Olhão went to the ground and managed to locate both abandoned vessels without the engines.

"The vessels were towed to the usual mooring location, being subject to judicial inspection, with a view to collecting traces that could lead to the identification of the perpetrator(s) of the thefts", revealed the Maritime Police.
