The show “A Grande Ressaca”, with Carlos Cunha and his daughter Érika Mota, takes to the stage of the Municipal Auditorium of Olhão, this Friday, January 26, at 21 pm.

The protagonists will be accompanied by Nuno Pires and Lígia Ferreira for the presentation of this traveling project.

According to the Câmara de Olhão, "this is a theatrical comedy staged and directed by Carlos Cunha himself and by Marina Mota."

The actor «plays the role of Alberto, a frozen seafood entrepreneur, who lost his wife to Ramiro ten years ago. The character lives in anguish over this loss and has never stopped believing that his wife will return home».

"On the night Alberto turns 60, he and his friend Jaime overindulge, which gives rise to a big hangover the next day: Alberto doesn't remember anything about what he did the night before."

"The time trial begins that Alberto will have to do to get rid of the body of his wife's lover, who is now interested in returning home," says the municipality.

«In the midst of a lot of humor and unusual situations, the play also addresses strong themes, such as love, loneliness, affection and age», he concludes.
