The painting exhibition “O Despertar”, by Elsa Revez, will be on display from 12 to 31 January at the Exhibition Gallery of the Regional Directorate of Faro of the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ).
Born in Vila Nova de Cacela, and currently residing in Almancil, Elsa Revez refers to her family environment, the values and simplicity that define her personality and interests.
«By force of fate, one day he felt an immense desire to paint a picture, something he hadn't done for years. He recognizes that it was a liberating experience to see his hand sliding across the screen almost automatically, drawing the emotions he was feeling at that moment», says the IPDJ.
This exhibition will be open from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 18:00 pm.
