The Municipality of Lagoa will dedicate the year 2018 to Education and, on January 20, between 9:30 am and 17:00 pm, the conference “Educational Models and Approaches: History, Paths and Challenges” will gather at the Convento de S auditorium. José, recognized experts in various areas of Educational Sciences.
As part of the program to commemorate the 245th anniversary of the creation of the Municipality of Lagoa, «this initiative contributes to the cause that the Municipality has chosen as a priority for the year 2018: Education», explains the Câmara de Lagoa.
According to the municipality, «the meeting proposes to reflect on different models that coexist in our educational space, starting from a retrospective on the past, present and future of Education in Portugal, thinking about the challenges of the XNUMXst century. On the other hand, it constitutes another contribution to the ongoing construction process of Lagoa, Cidade Educadora».
On the same day, there will be a public presentation of the Project of Schools for Intercultural Education, to be implemented by the municipality in partnership with the Orquestra Intercultural Lagoa, during the biennium 2018-2019.
The conference Training Center of the Association of Albufeira, Lagoa and Silves Schools, as a Short Duration Action (ACD 6 hours).
