Russian romantic songs, sung by Russian singer Irina Egorova-Svechnikova, will liven up the evening of January 26, at the Algarve Regional Directorate of the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth, in Faro.
The concert, scheduled for 21 pm, will feature a repertoire of romantic songs – Russian Romance – «a musical fragment of sentimental character written for a single voice or an instrument, which stands out for its melodic and expressive style», according to the IPDJ.
“Generally, it talks about love and separation, about fidelity and betrayal, about the land, the sadness and longing for their homeland. Each song is a confession of an artist, his soul, his feeling, his sadness and his love. It reflects the soul of the Russian people, their experiences, their feelings – as in fado the Portuguese soul is reflected», describes this entity.
This will be another concert of the cycle that the IPDJ of Faro is promoting in partnership with associations in the Algarve, in this case, the association “LusOrtodoxia”.
