A fire that broke out this afternoon is consuming weeds in Ludo, in the Pinheiros Altos area, near Quinta do Lago. In the fight against the flames there are 29 operational, supported by 9 vehicles, but the number, according to a source from the District Relief Operations Command, is about to be increased.
According to the same source, despite the fire being "on the edge of the urbanized area, there is no indication that there are houses at risk".
Initially, firefighters were called to the scene to control a fire, but they were faced with a forest fire.
