Um Christmas solidarity dinner, prepared by the 14 chefs of Algarve Chefs Week, on December 1st, raised 11 thousand euros that will revert to APEXA – Algarve Exceptional Person Support Association and for Apatris21.
In this initiative, which took place at the Tivoli Carvoeiro hotel, in Lagoa, «the 14 chefs of Algarve Chefs Week, combined their gastronomic inspirations to create a menu alluding to the South of the country and the Christmas season, prepared for more than 350 people». says the organization.
As for the associations that will receive this money, APEXA's mission is to include the exceptional person in areas such as education, health and leisure, allied to promoting equal opportunities and improving the quality of life.
In turn, Apatris21 was created with the aim of supporting people with trisomy 21 and their families, with a view to their integration into society, education and professional training.
