The XLVIII Grand Prix of the Kings and the 3rd Grand Water Race promise by «Faro running” on the 6th of January.
As for another edition of this grand prize, which starts at 15 pm, the expectation is to bring together «athletes of national and international importance», in a test of «historical importance» in regional athletics.
Associated with this event is the 3rd edition of the Great Water Race (with the motto “Drink Água de Faro”), a playful and competitive competition, for non-federated athletes, open to the general population.
The initiative, promoted by the Algarve Athletics Association, Municipal Council of Faro and FAGAR, will depart and arrive at Jardim Manuel Bivar and will have passages through Cidade Velha, Largo de São Francisco, Pontinha and Rua de Santo António.
Registration for the “Great Water Race” is open until January 4th at www.cm-faro.pt and www.aaalgarve.org.
