Vítor Guerreiro, mayor of São Brás de Alportel, assigned, on October 27th, the portfolios to the executive council, with Marlene Guerreiro once again as vice-president.

During the current municipal mandate (2017-2021), Vítor Guerreiro (PS) is in charge of the coordination and decision regarding Strategic Planning and Spatial Planning, Economic Development, Civil Protection, Health, Education, Culture, Environment and Forestry, General Administration and Finance, Management of Municipal Heritage, Human Resources, Administrative Modernization and Municipal Representation.

The councilor and vice president, Marlene Guerreiro (PS) were assigned the following areas of responsibility: Social Action, Equality and Housing, Citizenship and Participation, External Cooperation, Heritage and Toponymy, Tourism, Trade and Entrepreneurship, Fairs and Markets, Consumer Protection, Youth, Communication and Information.

Councilor Acácio Martins, also elected by the PS, was assigned the following areas of responsibility: Urban Planning, Licensing of Private Works, Urban Renovation, Public Works and Infrastructure, Municipal Road Network, Mobility and Accessibility, Public and Municipal Transport, Energy, Sports and Hygiene and Safety at work.

Safety, Water and Sanitation, Maintenance and Occupation of Public Space, Green Spaces and Public Lighting, Traffic and Signaling, Machines, Vehicles and Workshops, Agriculture and Hunting, Veterinary and Animal Welfare and Administrative Offenses were, in turn, the areas assigned to councilor David Gonçalves (PS).

Bruno Sousa Costa, councilor elected by the coalition “São Brás de Alportel Prime – PPD/PSD, CDS-PP, MPT and PPM”, has no assigned role.

The full-time service to citizens by the president and respective councilors is maintained on Thursdays, on “Manhãs do Munícipe”, by appointment with the President's Support Office, through contacts: 289 840 023, 289 840 000 or email [email protected].

The chamber meetings are public and will be fortnightly, always on Tuesdays, at 15:00 pm, in the Main Hall of the City Council.
