“Tuber Bock” is a sweet potato craft beer and will be presented for the first time at the Sweet Potato Festival in Aljezur, which runs from 24th to 26th November.
This is a beer that was born from the collaboration between the brand "Alen'Tejo" and the Algarve "Marafada", which has already launched, for example, an orange beer from Silves.
"Tuber Bock" is a specialty beer, based on style Dunkles Bock, which uses top quality malts, classic hops and yeast typical of this style, with the addition of sweet potato, variety Lyra.
With 6,5% alcohol, the "Tuber Bock" is characterized by being less bitter than other styles of bocksLike Helles Bock. Sweet potatoes contribute to the malty flavor, due to the non-fermentable sugars.
“Tuber Bock” should be drunk fresh and is recommended to accompany grilled meats, stews, sausages and cheeses. The launch of this beer, which will be available by pressure and bottle at the Sweet Potato Festival, has the institutional collaboration of the Sweet Potato Producers Association of Aljezur.
