The Association of Commerce and Services of the Algarve (ACRAL) expressed today, in a statement, its "deepest regret" for the death of José António Silva, who held the position of chairman of the General Assembly of ACRAL, between 2002 and 2009, and chairman of the CCP – Confederation of Commerce and Services of Portugal, representing the Algarve association, between 2004 and 2010.

ACRAL points out that José António Silva, who died on Wednesday, at the age of 60, "has distinguished himself as a businessman, namely at the head of the then largest economic group in the region, Alicoop".

The wake is scheduled for today, November 24, between 17:00 pm and 21:00 pm, at the Mortuary House of Silves, where the funeral will depart, which will take place on Saturday at 10:00 am.
