An unprecedented concert, which will join Vitorino Salomé and his band to the duo Flor de Sal, performed by Ana Figueiras and Zé Francisco, will take place on October 31, at 21 pm, at the Cine-Teatro Louletano, in Loulé.
According to the Câmara de Loulé, «Cine-Teatro continues to bet on the launching of new challenges to local musical projects, joining them to recognized names in the national scene».
This time, the universe of traditional music and the world music, proposing a meeting between the duo Flor de Sal and Vitorino, “in a dialogue in which their repertoire will be reinvented, as well as common affinities and influences”.
«Composed of light crystals, in the form of a reed, of extreme whiteness, this flower forms on the surface of the small parts of the salt. Its great advantage is the flavor it arouses in food (instead of the tasteless refined salt), refining spices and refining pleasures».
Brought to the light of our reality, and inspired by this timeless landscape spread across the Algarve, the “Flor de Sal” project is born. A duo that started in 2014 and two years later made the official presentation of their first album “Flor de Sal” at the Cine-Teatro Louletano.
Zé Francisco, acting as a singer-songwriter and storyteller linked to the sea, his toil, nostalgia and the love he inspires, is accompanied by flutist Ana Figueiras, who with her experience in classical and ancient music , his talent and affection, «contributes to a fresh and inspiring interpretation, not only of traditional Portuguese music, but also of this miscellany of flavors that result in the fusion of different genres of music from around the world», says Câmara de Loulé.
The concert lasts approximately 90 minutes, is intended for people over 6 years old and tickets cost 10 euros, increasing to 8 euros for those over 65 and under 30 years old, with the Friend Card applicable to this event . Tickets can be purchased. here
