The University of Algarve will mark the Opening of the 2017/2018 Academic Year, on Sunday, October 8th, with a concert by the Orquestra Clássica do Sul, in the Cloister of the Municipal Museum of Faroat 18 pm.
According to the University of Algarve, «the initiative, which is open to the entire academic community and the population in general, intends to welcome new students, thus ensuring their full integration not only in university life, but also in the city and in the region that welcomes them».
The orchestra will interpret works by authors such as Mozart, Schubert, Rossini, Grieg and Strauss, under the direction of conductor Nil Venditti.
The concert is free, but subject to space capacity.
