Loulé will host on October 23 the final event of the Roadshow Porco PT, which the Portuguese Federation of Swine Producers Associations (FPAS) has been promoting throughout the country, to make known the first certification mark for 100% Portuguese pork meat , Pig PT.
In addition to the presentation, which will take place at NERA – Business Center of the Algarve Region at 17 pm, there will also be the opportunity to taste pork-based delicacies, in a session open to the entire population, which will take place on Avenida José da Costa Mealha, at 00:12.
At the Porco PT brand presentation session, «the various economic agents linked to the sector will be able to learn about the benefits of joining the pork certification program» and clarify «any doubts» they may have, according to FPAS.
«The attendees will be able to get to know all the details of the project, as well as the product quality guarantees, ensured by a demanding specification that lists various practices related to traceability, feeding, management, animal welfare and marketing of the meat in question”, added the association.
The population, on the other hand, will have the opportunity to taste what the Porco PT trailer has to offer. Here, “certified pork, PT Pork, will be prepared in loco, so that everyone can taste and prove the high quality of 100% Portuguese meat”.
