The work “A Casa da Convergência”, by Maria Manuela Sabino, is presented on October 18, at 18 pm, at the Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Municipal Library, in Loulé. 

“The House of Convergence!?” "reports the story of a Portuguese writer who, through an old boyfriend, learns of some cases, kept in strict secrecy, which were experienced during the period immediately after the Spanish Civil War, within a family of high society in Madrid" , says the Chamber of Loulé.

This situation ultimately drives her to write a novel. Fact that will take her to radically change her life.

Maria Manuela do Carmo Sabino was born in Olhão, in 1947. She has a degree in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon, and is currently Professor of Health at the Senior University of Olhão. He holds a master's degree in Educational Sciences from the Catholic University of Lisbon, and his master's thesis is entitled “School-Family Relations. Organizational Dynamics in a School.”

The presentation of the work is in charge of the writer Isabel Vila Pery, in another session of “Livros Abertos”.
