This Wednesday, 14 September, a 27-metre sailboat was stranded on the west jetty at the entrance to the Guadiana bar, having been towed by the Maritime Police to the Vila Real de Santo António marina.
On board the sailboat were a couple and a 4-year-old child of British nationality.
The alert was given at 1:00 am, having been mobilized a boat of the Maritime Police with four elements.
That operation ended up finishing around 3:20 am, with the crew in good health and the vessel without significant damage.'
