The Algarve's Miguel Paraíso Guerreiro has just been appointed by ROS Retail Outlet Shopping as the new general director of Designer Outlet Algarve, thus becoming responsible for the first project managed by the Austrian operator in Portugal, scheduled to open in autumn 2017, in Loulé .

In the fashion and luxury industry for over 15 years, with experience in projects in Europe and the Middle East, Miguel Guerreiro takes on a new challenge with the general management of the Algarve Outlet.

The new Director General of Designer Outlet Algarve specializes in Real Estate Asset Management, Shopping Center Design, International Business Development, Franchising Model, Brand Management, Product Development and Finance.

The professional started his career in Portugal at Projeto Têxtil, with brands such as Mango, Tally Weijl and victorvictoria as general director, in 2012 he assumed the position of Retail Manager of the Azadea group, in Qatar, the company master franchise from the group Inditex, Salsa, Virgin and others.

Miguel Guerreiro's career now passes through ROS Retail Outlet Shopping, the company responsible for the marketing and management of the Designer Outlet Algarve, known for its innovative concepts in centers o, with over 20 years of experience in Designer Outlets.

Born in the Algarve, Miguel Guerreiro takes over the direction of the new o with special pride: “It is with great pride that I take part in the management of a project that was inspired by the typical Algarve environment, with the ambition of highlighting the region's potential as a destination for all seasons of the year, leveraging the fashion sector as a of the Algarve's poles of attraction”.

The Designer Outlet Algarve will integrate 65 open-air stores, in the first phase, spread over 13.000 square meters, simulating the streets of a typical Algarve village, where there is no lack of traditional chimneys or white painted walls to offer a true Algarve experience.

Together with MAR Shopping Algarve, the Designer Outlet Algarve will enable visitors to find a wide range of brands in the same area. premium and from different segments, «so that they have a unique shopping experience, based on the diversity of demand and offer for all tastes», emphasize its promoters.

Open from next autumn, in Loulé, the Outlet managed by ROS Retail Outlet Shopping will be part of the new commercial complex of the IKEA Group, integrated with the MAR Shopping Algarve and IKEA store, a project that represented a global investment of 200 million euros and the creation of 3.000 jobs in the region.
