Fidelidade launched the Fidelidade Comunidade Award, with a total value of 500 thousand euros, which aims to contribute financially to institutions that promote social inclusion and health prevention.

The initiative has a national scope and private social institutions will be able to apply annually for two types of financial support: one for their projects and the other, more innovative, for their organizational efficiency and development.

As an example, the latter may include financial support for training, creating social businesses, drawing up strategic plans or even consulting in health, hygiene or safety at work.

For Jorge Magalhães Correia, president of the Fidelidade Group, “this Award embodies our commitment to the sustainable development of society through the strengthening of the private social sector. We will pay special attention to the organizational development of entities in specific areas, which allows for better monitoring and obtaining synergies with the Fidelidade Group and its partners».

According to this insurance company, this is an initiative integrated within the scope of its Social Responsibility Program and based on its commitment “to continuously support the community – so that life does not stop”.

Social inclusion and health prevention are, says the company, «areas that correspond to the essence of Fidelidade's activity, in which the protection of people, assets and economic activity, in the present or in the future, are at the center of its business mission'.
