The International Day of Peace (September 21) will be marked in Silves with a march, to be held in locations across the county.
The initiatives take place on the 21st and 22nd of September and between elements of the Senior Sport classes and pre-school students, the marches will "bring together about two hundred participants dressed in white for Peace".
On the 21st, the march leaves Pêra at 9:00 am, at the Sports Pavilion, Amorosa (9:15 am, ARCA – Amorosa Recreational and Cultural Association), São Bartolomeu de Messines and Portela (10:30 am, next to Messines Municipal Garden), Alcantarilha (10:30 am) , Casa do Povo) and Tunis (10:45, kindergarten).
As for the 22nd, the initiative will take place in São Marcos da Serra (9:00 am, leaving Serrano FC), Algoz (9:30 am, leaving the Parish Council), Armação de Pêra (9:30 am, seafront), Enxerim, Poço Barreto, Fontes da Matosa and Silves (9:30 am, Municipal Swimming Pools), Azilheira (11:00 am, leaving the Primary School).
