Students, parents, teachers and employees of the João da Rosa School Group, in Olhão, will hit the road this Wednesday, the 27th of September, to participate in a walk to the Leisure Park and Maintenance Circuit of Pinheiros de Marim and celebrate the European Sport Week.
The group from Olhano joins educational establishments from several member states of the European Union, which tomorrow will mark the day that this initiative dedicates exclusively to schools.
The walk starts at 10:30 am, at Escola EB 2,3 João da Rosa, and should count with the participation of «approximately 500 people».
"The objective is to raise awareness in the educational community about the importance of physical activity and to raise awareness of an excellent sports and leisure space that the county has and which is probably not common knowledge", according to the Associação de Pais do Grupo João da Rosa , one of the partners in organizing this event.
