O Folkfaro is known for bringing the culture and traditions of other countries to the Algarve, but it also ends up promoting the exchange of cultural influences. An example of this is what happened this Thursday night, when the Polish group Warszawianka ended its performance singing… Tia Anica de Loulé.

The group's boldness, which sang and played the traditional Algarve theme without blemish, was awarded by the audience who rose from their seats to applaud the performance.

Before the Ensemble Warszawiaka took the stage, he played the Rancho Folclorico da Conceição de Faro, with sounds and dances more familiar to the Algarve public.

This Friday, folklore returns to the stage installed at the Doca de Faro, with the performance of the group that represents Italy and with the fado of Cátia Alhandra.

Tomorrow night is dedicated to Portuguese folklore and Folkfaro ends on Sunday with performances from all countries.
