The 16th Sea Swimming Test “Vila de Castro Marim” is scheduled for the 13th of August, at Praia da Alagoa/Altura, from 11:30 am. The competition is part of the 25th Swimming Circuit of Mar do Algarve.
The competition organized by Leões do Sul Futebol Clube is «the most emblematic sea swimming competition, the only one of its kind in the Eastern Algarve» and has already «ensured the participation of dozens of federated and non-federated athletes, many of them national champions» , according to the Chamber of Castro Marim.
The municipality considers that «in addition to being an excellent tourist-sports poster for the municipality and the region, the swimming event “Vila de Castro Marim” also aims to increase this sport, a practice for which the territory also offers excellent conditions. naturals'.
