A 34-year-old woman was transported this Monday, August 21, by an INEM helicopter to the Hospital de Faro, after having an epileptic fit on the Island of Culatra.
Olhão's lifeboat collaborated and assisted in the operations.
Is that "in situations of rescue of patients from the islands, barriers of Faro-Olhão, the Olhão Lifeguard Station team is activated to ensure the safety of the flight operations or to carry out the rescue in case of impossibility of landing the aircraft», explains the National Maritime Authority.
