Rescue teams in three zones of the tunnel "applied rope rescue techniques" and, because it was a sewer tunnel, where toxic gases can form, they used "respiratory protection equipment and multi-gas detectors", explain the firefighters.

After about an hour of searching the tunnel, which at the time had a "significant flow of water", the victim was eventually located and rescued, alive, at 16:15 pm, about 600 meters downstream of the crash site. .
