Performances in São Brás de Alportel, Loulé, Faro or Tavira always marked by the rhythms of international folklore. Until Sunday, August 27th, the folkfaro don't budge all over the Algarve

For example, in São Brás, the show is already scheduled for Friday, at Jardim da Verbena, the stage of the historic center.

In this issue, FolkFaro takes the dances of Bulgaria, Kazakhstan and Mexico to São Brás, in a meeting scheduled at 22 pm with the dances of the world.

«The stage at Jardim da Verbena prepares to receive the group Folk Ensemble Madara, from Bulgaria with its traditional costumes and a synthesis of unique sounds and rhythms combined with graceful movements and an exuberant artistic expression», says the City of São Brás.

Then, coming from America, in representation of colorful Mexican folklore, the Ballet Folklórica de Orizaba takes to the stage with eight musicians and 30 young dancers. The group seeks in each performance to demonstrate its love for Mexican culture and promote it on the world's stages.

In turn, the folklore of Kazakhstan makes its debut in the Algarve with the Folklore Group Zhubanov and Akku, which results from the merger of two groups from the city of Atyrau.

The musical group Murager, part of the Philharmonic Society of the city, will accompany the dance group Inju Marzhan and together «promise a show of high artistic level, where oriental sounds and sumptuous traditional costumes will stand out», considers the São Paulo municipality.

And there are more shows scheduled: for example, this Thursday, 24th of August, there is a show, at 21 pm, at the foot of the Parish Council of São Sebastião, in Loulé, with Bulgarian dances.
