Camané, one of the greatest voices of Fado, gives an open-air concert at Calçadão de Quarteira, accompanied by the Orquestra Clássica do Sul, next Saturday, August 12th, at 21 pm.
With Quarteira as a backdrop, and at a time when there are many tourists there, this will be a «unique musical moment, where all the feeling transmitted by Fado, in the voice of one of the most prestigious fado singers, will be accompanied by this Orchestra whose work is a national reference», stresses the Câmara de Loulé.
Directed by Rui Pinheiro, the Orchestra will accompany the artist in themes such as “Complicadíssima Teia”, “A Cantar”, “Marcha do Bairro Alto” or “Sei de um Rio”.
Considered as the most representative voice of the new generation of Fado, Camané has performed in all parts of the world, taking his music and the colors of Portugal even further.
The show in Quarteira is free.
Last year, the Orquestra Clássica do Sul had already accompanied another great voice of fado, Kátia Guerreiro, in a concert in Quarteira.
