Students from 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycle schools in Alcoutim will have free access to Porto Editora's “Virtual School” platform, through licenses offered by the Chamber. The measure of the alcouteneja autarchy will benefit the 142 students who study in the municipality's clusters.

«The Virtual School is an online educational support platform, which provides digital educational resources, from the 1st to the 12th grade levels (regular or professional education). The support service for regular classes, allows you to reinforce the subjects taught and clarify doubts, through interactive classes, as well as small tests to assess your knowledge», framed the Alcoutim Chamber.

Among the different functionalities of the platform, the municipality highlights the fact that it is possible to access «learning assessment tests, with automatic results», as well as «identification of topics that students master and those that should study better».

The «recommendation of interactive lessons and activities based on the individual results of each student» and «access to reports on student performance in tasks performed on the platform» are other advantages that access to the “Virtual School” will bring to children and young people alcoholics.

“The license allows unlimited access to the resources where digital educational content is made available. School manuals (Porto Editora, Areal Editores and Raiz Editora) are also available on the platform in digital format. The Virtual School also makes available a set of dictionaries that make it possible to monitor the changes inherent in the orthographic agreement and facilitate the study of Foreign Languages», concluded the Chamber of Alcoutim.
