The most important photojournalism exhibition in the world, “World Press Photo 2017”, will be on display at Forum Algarve, in Faro, from the 14th of July to the 6th of August, in the central square, during the center's opening hours, from 10:00 am to 24:00 am.

To view will be the 154 winning images of the 60th annual “World Press Photo” contest, selected from a total of 80.408 photographs by 5.034 photographers around the world.

The big winning image, by Burhan Ozbilici, which captures the moment of the assassination of the Russian ambassador to Turkey, is one of the images that will be present in the exhibition at Forum Algarve.

The awarded images intend to show “the reality that some societies and peoples are facing today”.

Admission is free.
