Five beaches in the Algarve will be the stage for an original initiative by the Algarve Wine Commission (CVA) to promote Algarve Wines.
This is the first edition of Algarve Wines Sunset Summer, in which, through a van style street food, the assistants will introduce and taste some of the Algarve wines suitable for gastronomy and the season of the year, such as rosé and white wines.
The event takes place from 1st to 5th August, starting at Alvor beach, and then continuing to Carvoeiro (Lagoa), Porto de Mós (Lagos) and Santa Eulália (Albufeira), ending at Praia do Barril, in Tavira .
O Algarve Wines Sunset Summer it will also combine musical entertainment under the responsibility of a DJ, with the offer of gifts and other surprises, to promote, in a relaxed and original way, some of the wines of this region to tourists.
Carlos Gracias, president of CVA, points out that this pioneering and original initiative “is an excellent way to combine white and rosé wines, for which the Algarve has been winning consumer preference, with a time of strong presence of both domestic and foreign tourists , which choose the Algarve beaches for their holidays, thus constituting the ideal opportunity to promote a typical product of the region such as the Algarve Wines”.
