The III Festa do Porco no Espeto takes place from the 28th to the 30th of July, in the Municipal Garden of São Bartolomeu de Messines.
In addition to this delicacy, the event, which is organized by the Messines Volunteer Firefighters, also has musical entertainment.
«The funds raised with the realization of this event revert to this Fire Brigade, which is why it is appealing to everyone's participation», says the Chamber of Silves, which supports the initiative.
