O FaroXNUMX of Santa Maria, on the island of Farol, will be open for visits for a longer period in July and August. The building will open its doors to the public from Tuesday to Friday, from 15:30 to 19:15, under a protocol between the General Directorate of the Maritime Authority (DGAM), the Chamber of Faro, the IPDJ and the Equally Different Association, which will be signed this Tuesday.
According to the Maritime Authority, "the protocol that will be signed has as its objective the dissemination, promotion and promotion of cultural volunteering, in which young people make themselves available, through the IPDJ, to support visits to the FaroXNUMX of Santa Maria».
The City Council of Faro “supports this project through the necessary dissemination and logistics, and the General Directorate of the Maritime Authority guarantees the proper training of young volunteers and the opening to the public of the farol in the defined period. The activity of all volunteers will be coordinated by AID», adds the entity.
