As online applications for the Higher Professional Technical Courses (TeSP) of the University of Algarve are open from today, 3rd of July, to 11th of August (1st phase) and from 18th to 22nd of September (2nd phase).
This year, the University of the Algarve will reinforce the training offer in the Campus of Portimão with the opening of a TeSP in Accounting, at night.
In the 2017/18 school year, the Algarve academy will provide ten TeSP. These courses last for four academic semesters and 120 credits (ECTS) and lead to a Higher Professional Technician diploma.
These courses, explains the University of Algarve, «are intended for holders of a secondary education course or legally equivalent qualification; those who have passed the particularly suitable tests, designed to assess the ability to attend Higher Education for those over 23 years of age; to holders of a technological specialization diploma, a higher professional technician diploma or a Higher Education degree or diploma, who seek professional requalification”.
The TeSPs are post-secondary higher education courses, which lead to a professional qualification at level 5 of the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning.
