This Saturday, June 24, the Municipality of Tavira celebrates another City Day, which includes the awarding of medals for good service and dedication to employees with 20 and 30 years of service and municipal merit.
In total, 22 workers are distinguished with medals for good service and silver degree dedication (30 years of service) and four employees with medals for good service and copper degree dedication (20 years of service).
The following entities are also recognized with the Municipal Medal of Merit: Nossa Senhora das Dores Social Center, Tavira Nautical Club, Tavira Tennis Club, League of Combatants (Tavira Center), Tavira Folklore Ranch, Santo Estêvão Folklore Ranch and Tavira Swimming Club.
For their part, Ana Cristina Horta, Constantino Eusébio Ramos de Brito, Idalina Luísa Encarnação Marques, Mário José Nora Cavaco and Vítor Manuel Martins Baioa are honored with the copper degree medal of merit.
The celebrations for this day close at 22 pm, at Praça da República, with a concert by Ana Moura.
