The V International Collecting Meeting takes place on June 10, at Centro Cultural António Aleixo, in Vila Real de Santo António.

The event brings together the biggest collectors from all over the country and Spain “who will show the public thousands of objects such as coins, champagne caps, stamps, chromes, crediphones, miniature cars and motorcycles, emblems and pennants”, advances the Chamber of VRSA.

This edition brings together around a hundred exhibitors and includes the participation of the Museu do Relógio de Serpa, as well as one of the largest Iberian collectors of military material (Cádiz, Spain) and another of models of national and foreign stadiums (Lagos).

At the meeting join many other collectors of objects as different as pins, coffee straws or miniature coaches made by hand.

During the event, three series of sugar packages will be launched with images of Ria Formosa (partnership with the association adrip), from the cans of the old VRSA canning industries, or from the woodcuts of the master Manuel Cabanas.

A collection of 12 postcards will also be launched with woodcuts by Manuel Cabanas alluding to personalities of the Portuguese Republic, with room also for the presentation of the stamp and seal commemorating the exhibition.

The event has free entry and can be visited from 10:00 am to 13:00 pm and from 14:00 pm to 19:00 pm.
