The awards ceremony for the “Mitose: science a south” project is scheduled for this Saturday, May 20, 2017, at 11:00 am, in the Rectory's Seminar Room, in the building of the University of Algarve Library (UAlg), in Campus of Gambelas.
The project, the result of a partnership between the University of Algarve and the Associação Juvenil de Ciência, allowed for an internship at the UAlg Research and Development Centers for secondary school students from all over the country and will now reward the best communications resulting from this experience.
The initiative “Mitose: Ciência a Sul” aims to “motivate young people to learn science and its communication” and “provide a scientific experience in a real environment, through an internship at the UAlg Research and Development Centers”, explains the algarvian gym.
