Support and information to tourists in Easytoll squares, for automatic payment of tolls, was reinforced from yesterday until tomorrow, the 12th, at the four Portuguese borders on motorways, announced the company Infraestruturas de Portugal.

In these days when a large number of tourists travel to our country to visit the Sanctuary of Fátima, every day, between 9:00 am and 18:00 pm, teams of IP employees will be in Easytoll squares, near the border on the A22/Via do Infante (International Bridge of Guadiana/Vila Real de Santo António), A24 (near the Chaves/Verin border), A25 (Service area of Alto de Leomil, in Vilar Formoso) and A28 (Service area of Viana do Castelo) , helping drivers of vehicles with foreign license plates that intend to circulate on these highways.

This support for drivers of vehicles with foreign registrations is guaranteed by IP “in periods when foreign tourists are expected to enter Portugal in greater numbers, such as Easter and early August”, the company adds.

This is, according to IP, "an important aid that ensures greater speed and efficiency in the process of joining the Easytoll system and better traffic flow on highways."
