The photography contest “Homens de Mar” is now “open to the entire community”, and the candidate images can be sent until May 14th. The big winner (with the right to receive a tablets) is known on May 31, Fisherman's Day.
This competition aims to «promote the sector among the local community, as well as raise awareness about the environment, its preservation and the difficulties experienced by fishermen, both in their work related to aquaculture and in the sea», explains the Chamber of Olhão.
The photographs, which must be sent to [email protected], will be available for voting on the page of Facebook from the Municipality of Olhão between the 16th and 29th of May until 23:59.
Although the winner will only receive the prize on the 31st, the lucky winner will be announced on the 30th. here
