The gastronomic and ethnographic exhibition «Senses and Traditions» will showcase Algarve products and services on Friday, May 19, between 19pm and 00am, at the Algarve Hotel and Tourism School (EHTA), in Faro.

The objective of this initiative is “to boost the local market and regional products in the areas of gastronomy, wines, crafts, music and culture of its people”, according to EHTA.
At the event, the public will be able to find some emblematic products of the region, such as olive oil, cheese, honey, orange, almond, carob, sweets, wines and liqueurs.

«In addition to putting into practice the skills acquired by students throughout the school year», the event aims to «contribute to the visibility of entrepreneurs in the various sectors of activity in the Algarve region, in a space of historical and architectural reference such as the Convento de São Francisco ».

Admission costs 1 euro and the profits revert to the Cultural and Social Support Association of Olhão (ACASO).
