The academic spirit was brought to the stage of Wonderland, by the tunas of the University of Algarve, this Thursday. Tuna Bebes, Real Tuna Infantina, Feminis Ferventis and Versus Tuna enlivened the night before a lively and well-composed audience.

The tunas didn't stick to the original songs, not even the style that normally characterizes them. Versus Tuna, in particular, experimented with new rhythms, and even hip-hop was heard in the room.

“Electro latino” and Portuguese pop in Diogo Piçarra's new homecoming

The “Latin electro” by Juan Mágan, one of the international names on the 32nd Academic Week of the Algarve, will sound today, Friday, in Wonderland. The penultimate night of the Algarve university students' party will also feature young people Átoa and Diogo Piçarra, who, as in the 2015 edition of this event, will once again share the stage.

The first to take the stage will be Átoa, a band composed by João, Guilherme, Rodrigo and Mário, all from Évora, who, despite their youth, play original songs in Portuguese.

This is followed by Diogo Piçarra, a “son of the land” who has been gaining more and more success nationally, but also abroad. After having released in March his last album in Faro, at Teatro das Figuras, the musician from Faro returns home for another concert.

Late into the night, there is Juan Mágan, a name much applauded during the presentation of the poster and who brings together on stage several styles, including house music, R&B, dancehall, reggaeton and hip hop.
