Carlos Gouveia Martins has already been confirmed as the list head of the CDS/PSD coalition to the Municipal Assembly of Portimão, like the Sul Informação had advanced last March.
Carlos Gouveia Martins, who is president of the Social Democratic Youth (JSD) in the Algarve, member of the board of the Municipal Section of the PSD Portimonense and also national municipal coordinator of JSD, told our newspaper that the decision was taken «unanimously» on 19th May, «at a meeting of the Political Committee of the Portimão PSD section», having been approved the following day, also unanimously, in the plenary of the Portimão Social Democrats. However, its name "has also been approved by the CDS".
In other words, «it is already certain that I will head the list of the coalition to the Municipal Assembly of Portimão», added the young Carlos Gouveia Martins, who is the son of a historical member of the PSD from Portimão, Carlos Martins (current administrator of Centro Hospitalar Lisboa Norte).
