The firefighters and the GNR are searching to find a man who yesterday, Saturday, disappeared in the Guadiana river, in the Pulo do Lobo area (Mértola), while he was following with two others in a kayak.
According to a source from the District Relief Operations Command (CDOS) in Beja, the three men were traveling in a kayak on the Guadiana River, with two of them having fallen into the water, in the Pulo do Lobo area, and then left the river.
Later, at around 23:30 pm on Saturday, the two men warned that they had lost contact with the third man, who allegedly followed in the kayak.
According to the same source, the two men who fell into the water were assisted in the place where they left the river.
