A workshop on “Observing wild orchids”, this Saturday, April 8th, at 9:00 am, at Fonte Benémola, an interpretive tour on the “curiosities of the plants of Rocha da Pena”, on Sunday, April 9th, at 9:00 am , and another on the “Histories of the rocks and landscapes of Fonte Benémola”, on 1 October, at the same time, will present Rocha da Pena and Fonte Benémola, in the municipality of Loulé. 

The objective of the initiative is "to value and disseminate the natural and cultural values ​​of these Protected Areas", according to the City Council of Loulé.

To this end, there will be, from April to October, more activities such as the workshops “The birds that hide in Fonte Benémola”, on April 22, at 9:00 am, and “Feathers for what I want you”, on September 24, at 9:00 am , in Rocha da Pena.

And continuing through nature… the thematic route “The history of the Algarve super salamander” takes place on September 10, at 9:00 am, in Rocha da Pena, while the “Observation of nocturnal animals” takes place on June 3, at 21 pm, at Fonte Benémola. For more activities click here

All initiatives, promoted in a partnership between the Câmara de Loulé, the company GeoWalks & Talks – Geotourism in the Algarve, adherent to the brand Natural.PT and the Almargem Association, are free but registration is required. here
