the XIV Peddy Paper of “Cumeada da Alta Mora” brought together “about 200 people” on April 23 for a “sagacious test of knowledge and acumen”, according to the Chamber of Castro Marim.
The 28 participating teams cover eight kilometers of challenges based on traditional games, arts and crafts and local knowledge, associated with country life.
In first place was the “Homo Erectus” team (169 points), followed by the “Australopithecos” (158 points), in second, with the “CCD 2” team closing the podium (151 points).
In fourth place was “CCD 1” (151 points) and in fifth place “Pica in the galaxies” (139 points).
«The promotion and enhancement of the potential of the endogenous and cultural resources of the parish of Odeleite was, once again, the main objective of the initiative», says the Chamber of Castro Marim.
The XIV edition of the Peddy Paper “Cumeada da Alta Mora”, organized by the Cultural and Sports Association of the Friends of Alta Mora, had the support of the Castro Marim City Council and Odeleite Parish Council and with the collaboration of the Odiana Association, of the Culture and Sport Center of the Staff from the Municipality of Castro Marim (CCD) and from various companies in the region.
