The wooden walkway that connects Algar Seco to the ruins of the Fort of Nossa Senhora da Encarnação, in Carvoeiro, has already been lit throughout its entirety since April 21st.

The Câmara de Lagoa concluded the installation work of 114 LED low-lighting luminaires, an intervention that motivated an investment of around 56 thousand euros.

the bridge, with a length of 570 meters, it has been in operation since September 2014.

The 2nd phase of the Carvoeiro walkway included the construction of an open-air amphitheater next to the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Encarnação.

«Since the 21st, visitors can take a simple walk or practice physical exercise at night, safely, along the entire length of the bridge, which now presents an image that captivates everyone, whether during the day or at night», guarantees the Câmara de Lagoa.
