The wind has abated and the roar of Formula 1 Motornautics engines can already be heard in the Arade estuary, in Portimão. Although a large part of this Saturday's program has been suspended due to weather conditions, free F1 training is already taking place in the somewhat choppy waters of the river.

As a backdrop to all the excitement of the riverside area and the paddock of the F1 Motonautics World Championship, the cruise ship is moored in the port of Portimão Star Pride, with 208 passengers and 164 crew.

With program delays due to wind and the much more favorable weather forecast tomorrow, the bulk of the program is saved for this Sunday, much to the delight of speed-over-water fans.
